Rosny Concert 4th March 2015
I will be returning to Rosny Farm following my guest spot with Note-Aurius to play a full length solo concert tonight, featuring pieces from ‘Caldera’ and ‘From The Sea.
Tonight I will also be performing Peter Sculthorpe’s ‘Threnody’ for solo cello, as a tribute to this great Australian composer. For me, Sculthorpe’s ‘Threnody’ is a piece infused with vital energy, exploring emotional depths that circumstance can open within us all at times; music crafted exquisitely in the rich, raw, eloquent yet unbridled tongue of the cello. I look forward to playing for you!
I will also be accompanied by the wonderful Note-Aurius ensemble for two or three of my pieces, I can’t wait! Here’s some more information on Note-Aurius, and all tickets can be purchased via Arelmedia. Tickets can be obtained here, and I’d be absolutely delighted to meet you tonight and have a chat.
